Haiti Summer Mission Chanje Movement

Join Us For A Summer of Transformation

We are thrilled to send another team to Haiti this summer!  Whether you have been to Haiti 10 times or 0 times, this is a great opportunity to see the ministry at work northern Haiti, meet the Haitian staff and kids at Lakay, and experience first hand how God is moving in Haiti.

This summer at Chanje Movement we are excited to be providing three different outreaches that meet the most urgent needs of the local community. We will be working with local doctors to run a pop-up mobile medical clinic and are looking for people with a medical background to join this trip and assist. We will also host a youth sports camp to provide a safe and fun environment for kids to connect with each other, connect with community mentors, get a meal, and hear the Gospel. We are looking for anyone with a camp, athletic or coaching background to assist. Our third effort is a food outreach to a remote village to serve, pray for and share the Gospel with those experiencing the most extreme poverty in the nation.

It’s going to be an incredible trip and we can’t wait for you to join us! If you are interested in going, please email info@chanje.org and we will send you the application link!

When is the trip?

It will take place in June 2026. For security reasons, we do not publish specific dates or locations of trips, so please email us info@chanje.org for that info.

Is it safe to travel to Haiti?

It is safe to travel to northern Haiti, where our ministry is located. We take teams there regularly and have no safety concerns. There is no gang violence or crime, and the police are alert, honest and active in the community where we are working.  The people are extremely hospitable and welcoming, and are delighted to receive us.

What are accommodations like?

You will be staying in a hotel with normal beds, bathrooms, showers and electricity. There is A/C in the rooms, but at times it is insufficient, so there are also portable fans. We take good care of our team, but Haiti is not a first world nation so team members should be prepared for things that Americans might consider inconvenient.  It’s important to remain flexible and patient.  Typically we will have breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant each day and lunches will be provided for our team at outreach sites.  We make sure that the food served to our team is safe and healthy for our consumption.

What will we be doing?

This summer we are planning to do three types of outreach: food outreaches, pop-up mobile medical clinics, and youth sports camps. All our team members will serve and participate in all three types of outreach.

Who can apply?

The application for this trip is open to anyone 18+ with a valid passport and no major health concerns. All applicants are also required to pass a background check. Teens are welcome to apply if their parents are also going. There is a non refundable application fee.

What is the cost? Can I fundraise?

The cost of this trip is $3,995. This includes airfare, accommodations and all food while in Haiti. You are encouraged to fundraise to help cover all or some of these costs. The Global Mission (our parent ministry) will set up a personalized fundraising page for you that you can share with friends and family. We will also give you recommended scripts to use and social media posts. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for you. Typical trip participants who step out in faith are able to raise 100% of their trip cost plus more to help fund the outreaches simply by reaching out to friends and family.  Even if you plan on covering your own costs, we ask you to be willing to fundraise for the outreaches to help the people of Haiti.
