A lot of people come to me and tell me how much they enjoy and they really appreciate the food that Chanje give them. And I always tell them where the food come from. I know I remember one lady one day she came to me, she said, “I don’t have anything to give to my children.” And it was really sad because she actually asked someone, it was a young girl, she had a duaghter, she actually asked one of the motorcycle (taxi driver) to actually sleep with her to give her a bag of spaghetti.
When she see me, and we were going to do an outreach that day, and she saw me coming and she said. “God must answer prayers.” She said “oh my god, you don’t even know what you just did. I was actually willing, because my daughter had nothing to eat so I was actually willing to sleep with someone for 2o Haitian dollars just to buy a pack of spaghetti for my child.
Chanje is changing lives for Haitian mothers and children.
