Haiti Winter Missions Trip

We are excited to be taking another team to Haiti this winter. Whether you have been to Haiti 10 times or 0 times, this is a great opportunity to see the ministry at work in its new north Haitian home, meet the Haitian staff and kids at Lakay, and see first hand how God is moving in Haiti.

For security reasons, we do not publish specific dates or locations of trips. But please feel free to call us at 949.333.0500 or email info@chanje.org and to begin the conversation.

Is it safe to travel to Haiti?

It is safe to travel to northern Haiti, where our ministry is located. We have taken two teams there so far and have not had any safety concerns. There is no gang violence and the police are very active in the community where we are visiting.

What are accommodations like?

You will be staying in a hotel with a bed, fully functioning bathroom, and electricity. Many rooms have AC but it doesn’t always work. The hotel is able to provide fans. We take good care of our team, but Haiti is not a first world nation so team members should be prepared for things that Americans might consider inconvenient.  It’s important to remain flexible and patient.

What will we be doing?

Every trip to Haiti is a little different, but our teams typically spend a significant amount of time with kids and staff at Chanje Lakay and help out with any tasks there that need to be done. We also do community outreach such as food distribution and park evangelism. On this particular trip, we will be delivering Christmas bags.
