You’re burning up with a high fever. But there’s no Tylenol, no ibuprofen, not even basic over-the-counter meds to bring the temperature down.
Your child comes to you with a deep, painful cut. All you have is cold water and a prayer that it won’t get infected.
You’ve been told you have high blood pressure which is manageable with the right medicine. But the pharmacy shelves are empty, and the nearest clinic is days away, with no guarantee they can help you when you get there.
For many in Haiti this isn’t imagination—it’s daily life.
Even in northern communities where clinics and hospitals remain open the shortage of medical supplies and staff is critical. Basic First Aid items such as bandages, gloves, antiseptics, and pain relievers are in alarmingly short supply. Many people wait weeks for treatment. Some never receive it at all.
But there is hope. And you can be part of it.

Dr. L, a member of the Chanje Movement leadership team, caring for a wound on a child at a community clinic.
Chanje Movement is blessed to have two medical doctors on staff and they are requesting First Aid and burn treatment supplies. We are hoping to raise $1,500 to purchase essential medical supplies. These supplies will help treat the children at Chanje Lakay and serve families in the surrounding community.
Your donation will go directly toward purchasing essential First Aid items such as:
- OTC pain medications
- Bandages and gauze
- Medical gloves and wraps
- Antiseptics and burn kits
- Cold packs and basic First Aid tools
These are things we often take for granted in the U.S., but in Haiti, they can mean the difference between healing and infection—between hope and despair. Your donation will give Chanje Movement doctors the supplies they need to bring hope and healing.
